Joeys
0-12 monthS Infant
At Joeys, we have been carefully designed to create a secure and nurturing place where children’s basic needs are highly focused. Our experienced educators will dedicate to building attachments and bonding with our infants by recognising children’s’ early communication, such as cries, gestures, and facial expressions, as well as supporting children’s early development through various sensory experience.
For infants, it is crucial to provide activities that support their sensory exploration, physical development and social-emotional bonding, and language acquisition.
To support that, we will design play like:
Regular tummy time to strengthen neck and upper body strength.
Sensory play, such as offer age-appropriate materials with different textures for children to explore and support children’s creativity, fine motor skills and early language skills.
Music will also be introduced to our infant room, such as lullabies, nursery rhymes, or simple songs while rocking or cuddling infants, to promote bonding and body awareness.
Supervised outdoor exploration – our infants are also encouraged to experience natural sights, sounds and sensations in a safe, shaded area with soft grass and blankets.
Quiet Time – at Joeys, we have a cozy corner with soft cushions and blankets where infants can relax and cuddle with caregivers during quite moments.
