Family Enrolment Guide

Welcome to Little Sunshine Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten! We're thrilled you're considering joining our community.

Here's a simple guide to help you navigate the Enrolment process smoothly.

Step 1 – Join our waitlist and Schedule a Tour

  • To secure a place earlier, we encourage you to express your interest by “Join our waitlist” Once you've filled out a quick form with your basic details, you'll also receive an email containing a link to schedule your tour at your convenience.

  • You can also choose to simply click the "Book a tour" button to schedule a tour.

Step 2 – Enjoy Your Service Tour

Upon confirming your tour date and time, please arrive 5 minutes early so our team can warmly welcome you. During the tour, feel free to explore our facilities and ask any questions you may have about our programs and philosophy.

Step 3 – Confirm Enrolment Details

If you're excited about joining Little Sunshine, send an email to adminpreston@littlesunshine.com.au with your preferred start date and enrolled days. Once we have the place available, we'll then send you an offer along with a link to our online Enrolment form.

A non-refundable $100 Enrolment fee will be charged.

Here's a list of documents you'll need to complete the Enrolment process:

  • Complete Enrolment form before expiry date

  • Child's birth certificate

  • Child's immunization history statement (official Australian version)

  • Child's CRN and Primary Carer CRN for Childcare Subsidy (CCS) eligibility (You can seek assistance from Centrelink if needed.)

Step 4 – Choose Your Orientation Dates

In the Enrolment form, you'll be asked to confirm your start date and nominate two orientation days for your child. We conduct orientations Monday to Friday between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

  • Before your first orientation, you'll receive an email containing essential information such as the door code, Parent Handbook, Storypark invitation (to document your child's learning journey), Xplor link (for attendance, bookings, CCS submissions, and health information), and instructions on accessing Storypark for families and Xplor Home.

  • During the second orientation, we'll ensure all necessary processes are completed, including updating documents, verifying StoryPark and Xplor links, and addressing any CCS issues.

Step 5 – Prepare for the First Day

To ensure your child's smooth transition, please prepare the following items for their first day:

  • Water bottle

  • Sun-safe hat

  • Spare clothes

Remember to label all belongings with your child’s name.
